Summary

HiveForce Labs has recently made several significant discoveries related to cybersecurity threats. Over the past week, we identified a total of six executed attacks, two instances of adversary activity, and eight exploited vulnerability, highlighting the ever-present danger of cyberattacks.

Furthermore, HiveForce Labs uncovered Iranian espionage group Mint Sandstorm, targeted high-profile Individuals of research organizations and universities in a recent phishing by deploying new backdoor malware MediaPl backdoor and MischiefTut.

Meanwhile, a critical zero-day vulnerability (CVE-2024-0519), in Google Chrome that can lead to program crashes or enable arbitrary code execution. These observed attacks have been on the rise, posing a significant threat worldwide.
