Threat intelligence research by Hive Pro

The research team behind every alert you get from Hive Pro

HiveForce Labs is the research engine behind Hive Pro’s Uni5 CTEM platform. We power its Threat Intelligence and Adversarial Exposure Validation modules, so you can see which threats target you, whether your controls stop them, and what to fix first. That is your true risk, not just a list of CVEs. Our threat advisories and digests stay free for the security community.

What is HiveForce Labs

An in-house threat intelligence lab, not a data feed

HiveForce Labs is Hive Pro's cyber threat intelligence and security research unit. Our analysts read hundreds of open and closed sources each day, check every claim against our own database, and publish only verified, actionable intelligence that needs your attention.

Every piece of research is built to answer the three questions defenders ask first: Is this real? Does it affect us? What do we do about it?

We track
Zero-days, exploited CVEs, ransomware and malware families, nation-state and criminal threat actors, and available remediations.
We analyze
Attack chains mapped to MITRE ATT&CK, threat levels, targeted regions and industries, and links to earlier campaigns.
We deliver
Free advisories and digests, machine-ready intelligence that drives prioritization in the Hive Pro CTEM platform, and safe attack simulations in Uni5 that test your controls against real-world attacks.

Inside an advisory

Built to be triaged in a minute

Every advisory follows the same structure, so you can find the answer to “is this real, does it affect us, what do we do” without reading the whole thing.

  1. Threat level and exploitation status. Decide in seconds if it needs attention today.
  2. Affected products and identifiers. Match CVE, CPE and CWE to your inventory.
  3. ATT&CK techniques and defanged IoCs. Take them straight into hunting and detection.
  4. Patch, workaround and recommendations. Hand the fix to the team that owns it.

Research units

Four teams, one picture of your threat exposure

Each unit owns one part of the exposure lifecycle, from the first sign of a threat to the fix that closes it. Move through them in order: spot, rank, test, fix.

Who is behind this, and are they after my industry?

Step 1 · Spot
UNIT 01 · THREAT INTELLIGENCE

Threat actors and attack campaigns

Tracks who is attacking, how, and whom. Publishes Attack and Actor advisories with timelines, targeted regions and industries, MITRE ATT&CK TTPs and defanged indicators of compromise.

You get

  • Actor profiles with aliases, origin and motivation
  • Malware classification, including hybrid and modular families
  • Recent breaches linked to each campaign

Which of these CVEs is being exploited right now?

Step 2 · Rank
UNIT 02 · VULNERABILITY INTELLIGENCE

CVEs that are actually being exploited

Separates the few vulnerabilities attackers use from the thousands they ignore. Covers zero-days, CISA KEV additions, public proof-of-concept exploits and the "celebrity" vulnerabilities everyone is asking about.

You get

  • CVE, CPE and CWE mapping for every affected product
  • Monthly Microsoft Patch Tuesday, Linux security update, and CISA KEV reports
  • Exploitation status, not just CVSS

Would this attack get past my controls?

Step 3 · Test
UNIT 03 · BREACH & ATTACK SIMULATION

Proving whether an attack would work on you

Builds safe, real-world exploits from active threats to test your email security, WAF, EDR and NGFW. Every scenario shows whether your controls detect it, prevent it, or miss it entirely.

You get

  • Attack types covering MITRE ATT&CK techniques, email malware delivery, vulnerability exploits and endpoint evasion
  • Detection and prevention results for every control tested
  • Prevention signatures to close gaps and Sigma rules for threat hunting, with practical recommendations for each gap

Answers

What exactly do I deploy, and what if there is no patch?

Step 4 · Fix
UNIT 04 · PATCH INTELLIGENCE

The right fix, for the right asset, first

Hunts down the patches and mitigations for every exploited vulnerability and makes them available across the platform. Defenders get the exact fix in one place, without searching vendor sites and advisories.

You get

  • Each exploited CVE mapped to its exact vendor patch and superseded updates
  • Mitigations and workarounds when no patch exists
  • Patch priority driven by exploitation status, not just CVSS
